Description

This XL reusable cloth night pad is designed to offer maximum protection and comfort during the night or on days of heavy flow.
Its extended back shape helps prevent leaks while you sleep or lie down, giving you security and comfort at all times.

It fastens to your underwear with a small nickel-free metal snap button that keeps it securely in place without causing discomfort.

nüshu cloth pads are made in Spain, in the coastal village of Canet de Mar. Each pad is handcrafted one by one using high-quality, locally sourced materials.

The environmental footprint of the production process is very important to me. That’s why the raw materials (thread, fabrics, buttons…), tools and packaging are all sourced locally.

They are vegan and cruelty-free. Their absorbency will surprise you, especially considering how thin they are.

Materials of the XL reusable night pad

nüshu cloth pads are made up of several carefully selected layers:

• Inner layer (in contact with the vulva): 100% cotton flannel, a soft and gentle fabric that helps prevent chafing and irritation.
• Middle layers: several layers of 100% cotton that absorb menstrual blood evenly and efficiently, adapting to heavy flow needs.
• Laminated waterproof layer: an innovative membrane that prevents leaks while allowing breathability, helping reduce the growth of bacteria and fungi.
• Outer layer: colourful printed cotton fabric that sits against your underwear and adds a personal, joyful touch to your period. Choose the print that represents you best and brighten your bleeding days with colour and personality.

All layers are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified, guaranteeing they are free from harmful substances.

Remember you cannot use them on both sides: the side in contact with the vulva is the smooth, soft flannel layer.

How to wash reusable cotton cloth pads

During your period, you can keep a bowl of cold water in the bathroom and let the pad soak after use to help release the blood from the fabric.
Adding a few drops of tea tree essential oil can help prevent bacteria and fungi.

Then:

1. Wash by hand with mild soap or in the washing machine (max. 30°C).
2. Do not use a tumble dryer or iron.
3. Hang it to air dry and avoid storing it while damp.
4. For stubborn stains, you can use sunlight or sodium percarbonate.

With these simple care steps, your cloth pads can last for more than 3 years, maintaining their absorbency and softness.

Every moment of the menstrual cycle is different, which is why at nüshu you’ll find different models of reusable cloth pads adapted to each need:

• Cloth panty liner: light absorbency, ideal for the first and last days of your period, daily use or small leaks.
• Day pads: with medium or heavy absorbency. The M and L models adapt to light or heavy periods and also to moderate or severe urine leaks.
